Taken at the Cheyenne Mt Zoo in March 2014.
A goooooooooooooorgeous male Mexican grey wolf in his enclosure at the zoo! I loved the 100% natural, unchanged setup of the wolves' habitat here. This one was prowling around the boundaries of the enclosure. At one point he picked up a meaty bone chunk and toted around, quite proud of his "catch". And then he spent some time chasing around all the magpies. (Photo is slightly out of focus, I know.)
