Brown Trout, South Platte River

Me with my FIRST EVER caught trout!! I went on a fly fishing guided trip with 5280 Angler (which I HIGHLY recommend). My guide, Tim, taught me all the basics of wet fly fishing, and was so patient and calm with me- I had never been fly fishing before. So, even though we got caught in a blizzard and the water was 34ish degrees (F), we managed to land this small female brown trout! We released her afterwards. And yes, my hands were frozen into claws for hours after that.
