Lower Geyesr Basin, a female bison takes off at a full tilt run, leaving her herd to stare and wonder....why? I don't know what crawled up her butt, but it made for several exciting shots!
Female bison are typically MUCH smaller than males, have less muscle on their shoulders, and "thinner" heads. She's still shedding her winter pelt.

great capture, though if its head was slightly turned so the light would capture the eyes, it would have been much better...nonetheless it is an awesome photo
